Sending messages from the eduSky system
From the eduSky system you can send email messages and text messages to students, parents, teachers and system users who have other dedicated roles.
You can also direct communication to a selected - more extensive group of recipients, e.g. to the whole group, to all groups, or to all recipients who have active contracts in the system.
Two types of messages are sent from the platform:
- System messages (email notifications) - e.g. about setting up a system account, changing the status of the contract, etc.
- Informational messages (emails and text messages) that are first added to the shipment and sent to the recipient only after acceptance by the owner or employee of the secretary's office.
Periodic messages (e-mails and text messages) - e.g. about the upcoming payment or the student's birthday, which, depending on the settings, can be sent automatically without requiring confirmation.
Important notes:
System messages exit the platform automatically and do not require approval
Informational and periodic messages - depending on the dedicated settings - require the approval of the owner, an employee of the secretary's office or another person who has such permissions in the system.
Approved messages are sent from the eduSky system every 5 minutes. You can check the shipping status in the Messages - All tab.
If you use SMS notifications - do not forget to check before sending the message - whether your SMS wallet contains the right amount of points.
