SMS - balance, shipping, message sender

Sending SMS messages in the system is possible to all customers who have agreed to it. Consent to sending messages is based on the Agreement consent parameter (see Agreements - additional information), unless the sending of messages is based only on the data of students (and / or guardians) - regardless of the consent given.

In order for sending SMS messages from the system to take place, it is necessary to have funds on the SMS balance account. Each top-up point corresponds to PLN 1.

Topping up the SMS balance in the eduSky system is based on an internal order. To do this, go to Finance → Internal, and then select the point value by which the balance should be increased in the "New internal order" tab. In addition, a description can be entered in the order to specify the order details.

Message sending

Sending messages to users can be done from many levels in the system. In the Groups, Teachers, Students and Contracts sections (signed, awaiting signing, others, for services), after selecting selected records in the lower left corner of the table, the function of sending messages to selected users is activated.

You can also send messages in the section Finance → Settlements → Arrears

Regardless of the method of sending the message, after selecting the option to send a message a panel appears with a number of options to choose from:

 

  1. Sending date- in this field you can schedule the date of sending on the desired day and time. If the date / time of shipment is not selected, the message will be sent as soon as possible (up to 5 minutes after accepting the message or if the day off / shipment hours do not allow it).
  2. Message type- after checking, the message can be sent via e-mail or / and SMS.
  3. Recipient type- a selector that allows you to choose between recipients of the message
  4. Type of SMS message - check box between Standard SMS (random sender's phone number) or a defined sender, containing e.g. school name (if you need configuration, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
  5. Content - text field of the SMS

 After clicking the send button, the message or messages will be in the Secretariat → Messages section awaiting approval from the secretariat employee or owner.
