Classrooms
Classrooms - the physical place where classes take place are important resources in the system. Information on the location of the classes is presented on the schedule of classes
To add rooms, rooms, halls or other places where classes take place to the system, go to Resources → Classrooms, then select → Add room.
Complete the fields as described, enter the name of the room, its number as well as the maximum number of places (exceeding the number of places in the room will not result in "deletion" from the student's classes - the number of places is informative).
- An additional and useful element in the context of the data presented in the class schedule is the color of the room. This option gives the possibility to filter the information presented on the class schedule based on the color assigned to the room, which is useful in differentiating it in the graphic view (see → Graphic).
- Clicking on the BRANCH field, select from the drop-down list the name of the department to which the room will be assigned. The effect of this assignment will be the automatic assignment of the department when creating the group (see → Student groups - settings).
- In the "Monthly Room Maintenance Cost" field - you can add a value that will be taken into account in the report determining the profitability of classes. This cost will be broken down into all classes carried out in a given period in a given room.
For adding a classroom - a new item will appear on the summary of classrooms in the Classrooms tab. Clicking on the name of the selected room will trigger a preview of its graphic schedule of classes.
