How to give the user an additional role in the system
In the eduSky system, it is possible to assign additional roles to the user by granting the status of e.g. office worker, guardian, student.
Thanks to this, using your login details, the user will be able to access data and dedicated views, e.g. for a teacher or guardian.
You can do this by going to the Secretariat section and then continue the appropriate path depending on your intention to add a new role to the user.
How to assign a different role to the teacher in the system?
• Go to the Secretariat section and select the Teachers tab
• Search or select from the list the person you want to assign an additional role to.
• Click Options and select Edit
• Then go to the Other roles in the system section and select the desired role.
How to assign students and mentors an additional role in the system?
• Go to the Secretariat section and select the Students tab.
• Search or select from the list the student or guardian to whom you want to assign an additional role.
• Click on options and select Edit
• At the bottom of the page is the column: Other user roles
• Select the desired role
How to add a secretary employee a new role in the system
• To give the Secretariat Employee an additional role, go to the Secretariat section, select Configuration → Employees
• Search or select an employee from the list to whom you want to assign an additional role.
• Click on options and select Edit
• Then go to the Other roles in the system section and select the desired role.
