Completing classes
Completing classes in the eduSky system is closely related to the group settings, but the process itself is simple and transparent.
When in the Desktop position, you can complete the class by selecting Options → Complete or just click on the white cross icon on a red background.
After clicking on any of these options, the system moves the view to the completion card, where you can specify the attendance of the participants of the class, as well as mark the preparation for classes, lack of homework or excuse the absence in accordance with the group's arrangements. Below are optional fields for the description of classes and homework, which can be supplemented or deactivated as needed by checkboxes with these parameters.
Further completing the class card is optional, where we can attach links, documents or teaching aids to the class, as well as determine the correction of class time, and a special rate for classes.
Attention. The correction of the class time has an impact on the teacher's remuneration and the costs incurred by the student for the classes, if the teacher's rate for the classes depends on the duration of the class and the contract between the school and the student assumes settlement based on the rate depending on the class time. In another case (other models of settlements with the teacher or student), the correction of class time is informative.
On the right side of the screen of completing the class card there is collective information about the teacher, class topic, attendance and class descriptions.
At the very bottom of the class card there is a list of classes in a given group with the possibility of previewing its completion, for example to check the substantive progress of the group course.
All completed classes can be found in the Classes → Completed section. From this level (and only from this) you can delete the supplement of classes by restoring them to the status of unfinished classes by selecting Options -> Delete.
You can also edit such classes and add student presence.
Warning! Deleting classes will result in irretrievable loss of data entered so far. This situation is only recommended if classes have been completed by and should not be held.
Example
There are usually 5 students in the A1 PLUS class, but a new student has come to the last class who has just started working with the school from these classes. The teacher completed the classes according to the displayed condition, i.e. 5 people in this group were marked as present, but he did not find a new student there. He reported this to the office worker to add the student's presence to the class.
Solution: The completed classes are a closed, admittedly editable, but due to the data entered - already an actual and permanent element of the system. In the Classes -> Completed section it is possible to add to the already completed classes the presence of a student who was in these classes, but was not added for various reasons.
