Courses
In the eduSky system, "Course" is a concept that includes a specific, structured learning process in a given subject area. There are many course parameters that directly or indirectly connect with other elements of the system.
Adding a course is one of the first steps in the system, because it is the individual courses that will be implemented by groups of students, and contracts with students are also based on existing courses.
To add a new course, go to the Secretariat → Configuration → Courses section, and then go to the "Add Course" tab. The following fields specify the course parameters:
- Display / do not display on the enrollment form - the parameter responsible for displaying the given course in the offer when using the enrollment by the external enrollment form
- Title - course name
- Description - optional optional course description
- Lesson unit time - information about the planned duration of the lesson unit
- Number of classes in the school year - information on the planned number of units during the course
- Subject - a field specifying the subject scope of the course
- Branch - information in which of the branches of the facility the course is implemented (can be implemented in all)
- Suggested next course - if the cycle of courses concerns a given course, you can place information suggesting a dedicated higher level of the course
- Educational level - choose if applicable
- The cost of training materials and other training costs combined - these are fields that provide information on billing parameters with the student, especially important when calculating the teacher's rate based on the percentage share of the profit from classes (more on the topic Class settings for the group)
Here you can also create a price assigned only to this course, while the whole process of adding a price to a course is described in the topic→ Prices of courses.
